                                                                                    Piercing Aftercare

 

ALWAYS WASH HANDS BEFORE HANDLING YOUR PIERCING. CLEAN PIERCINGS WITH A NON-SCENTED ANTI BACTERIAL SOAP AND WATER (GOLD LIQUID DIAL SOAP OR HUSTLE BUBBLES) 2X DAILEY. DO THIS REGARDLESS OF USING ANY OTHER SOLUTIONS. BACTINE SPRAY CAN BE USED FOR A QUICK IN BETWEEN CLEANING. USING A SINGLE USE TIP SPRAY A GENEROUS AMOUNT OF CLEANING SOLUTION(BACTINE SPRAY) AND CLEAN AROUND BOTH SIDES OF THE PIERCING. REMOVING ANY DRY BLOOD OR BUILD UP FROM AROUND THE PIERCING. AFTER DETAILED CLEANING IS DONE SPRAY PIERCING WITH CLEANING SOLUTION AND ROTATE OR ROCK JEWELRY AND LET AIR DRY. FOR GENITAL AND ORAL PIERCINGS DO NOT USE CLEANING SOLUTION. NO POOLS, LAKES, OR OCEANS WHILE PIERCINGS ARE HEALING. INFECTIONS MAY OCCUR, SIGNS OF INFECTION INCLUDE SEVERE SWELLING, FEVER, AND ABNORMAL DISCHARGE FROM PIERCING. CONTACT YOUR PHYSICIAN I SIGNS OF INFECTION OCCUR.

 

*Piercings can tend to get irritation bumps from accidentally laying on it, touching it with unclean hands, snagging, etc. In the event that happens, after doing your regular aftercare, try a diluted tea tree oil (half tea tree oil/ half water) get a q-tip, leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse with warm water 2x daily. If you feel like like the skin around piercing is too dry from doing aftercare, use a non-scented moisturizer (A&D ointment, Aquaphor, Hustle Butter, etc.)

 

 

Oral Piercings 

Rinse tongue or lip piercing with Antiseptic Rinse 3x daily. Make sure to rinse mouth right after eating or drinking. Avoid smoking and vaping during the healing process.
